Where was Kate Ryan born?
Pop singer Kate Ryan was born on July 22, 1980 in Tessenderlo, Belgium. She was playing guitar and piano by the time she was eight years old. At sixteen she joined the pop group Melt, but quit the group for a solo career after two years. Her first solo release, Scream for More, was a hit both in Europe and, later, in the United States. Ryan is currently working on her fourth album which will be released sometime in 2008.
