George W. Bush, the 43rd president of the United States of America, was born in New Haven, Connecticut on July 6, 1946. Even though he was born in a yankee state, he grew up in Midland and Houston Texas. Since taking office on January 20, 2001, home has been The White House. When his second term as president is over in January 2009, President Bush and his wife, Laura, will likely retire to their 1600-acre ranch located outside of Crawford, Texas.
